  1. Why cant we have anything nice? Knowing we were gonna lose most games this season i said at least we can watch the young guys…when Shae went down i told myself at least we can still watch Scoot… now they are both out and i’m struggling to find things to care about other than maybe evaluating Ayton. Just sucks man

Edit: and now DA went down.

  2. I’m still going to games and cheering! Been 3 seasons of tanking. I remember last year vs the kings in the moda chanting light the beam. We didn’t get wemby but this is the norm. I wanna see Rupes tonight! See ya at the moda!

  3. Tbf, I don’t blame them at this point. It sucks but playing Scoot through this strain and having him end up needing the same surgery as Shae would be terrible for his development. Get healthy, get a decent stretch of games for the last 4-5 weeks of the season and go into the off-season ready to work.

There needs to be a serious look at what is happening in the training and physio side of things that is leading to these core injuries however. There have been too many in too short of time to simply attribute to bad luck. Whether it’s something they’re doing, or something they’re not doing, they need to seriously evaluate their process outside of games.

  4. I don’t doubt Scoot has a groin strain, but they’re likely being ultra cautious. The next game after this road trip is Mar. 6 against the Thunder, so that’s a total of two weeks for him to rest. Assuming it’s a grade 1 adductor strain he should be good to go.

  5. God I hate this season so fucking much. What is going on with our training staff this season?

  6. This many injuries in the first season. Another too-early-to-tell crap shoot of a first round pick curse.
