  1. Jakobe Walters – Combo, shooter, volume

Rob Dillingham – Wiry, shifty, scorer

Reed Shepp – Shooter, versatile, efficient

Stephon Castle – Exciting, jumbo, winner

Nikola Topic – Polished, jumbo, >winner

Isaiah Collier – Tank, scorer, volume

  2. Sheppard is probably the safest and best bet just given how complete his game is this early. Dude can ball, can play both the one and the two comfortably. White point guards just don’t get proper respect unless they’re from overseas.

Castle, Topic and Walker are probably close behind — although Walker really is an isolation guy which could be very frustrating early into his career unless he is able to find that next step quickly.

Collier and Dillingham are probably too boom or bust at this point. It isn’t to say that Collier couldn’t become a fiend on the drive or Dillingham could be the flamethrower expected at the next level, it just feels kind of like a risk the Wizards should take.

Honestly, would rather make the reach with the late first round pick for Hunter Sallis or Tyler Kolek.

  3. In order: dillingham, Sheppard, (small gap) topic, castle, collier, (small gap) Walter

Really don’t know why topic is ranked ahead of dillingham when the latter is way more skilled offensively. Size is not an issue, just look at guys like Kyrie, garland, maxey. Dillingham is in that mold of player. May not become as good but he can get close. I don’t see that level of upside with the other guards. I do like Sheppard and would take him if we could get another lottery pick. He’s more of a complementary, connective piece but his game should translate too. Can be a better kispert

  4. I am still a big Topic believer. We need to get some god damn guard prospects. It’s entirely possible that Tyus leaves in free agency and suddenly we have a guard rotation of Jordan Poole, Johnny Davis, and Jared Butler. Not ideal, if you ask me.

My ranking of these guys from best to worst would be Topic, Dillingham, Sheppard, Castle, Walter, and finally Collier.

  5. Topic because hes head and shoulders better than these guys playing glorified high school ball

  6. The only ones I would take are the two Kentucky guards. If you say Topic your opinions sucks

  7. Topic is my favorite guard prospect for me, he just has an understanding of the game and playmaking that you don’t see 18yo’s have, and he is having success overseas in a professional league at that too. Good positional size at 6’7” and can easily get into the paint with drives and is a good finisher around the rim too. Best PG in the draft imo and has very good upside. His defense isn’t great rn and his 3pt shooting isn’t there yet( but I believe he can work on that to be a respectable 3pt shooter). He reminds me of kinda like a Josh Giddey type player. I also really like Reed Sheppard, dude is just a straight baller but idk if I could justify taking him in the top 3 if we picked there like I could Topic imo.

  8. Sheppard is just a classy, first in last out, lunch pail, meat and potatoes kinda guy. Still sneaky athletic too. Plays the game the right way.

  9. Collier has the most upside so he’s the guy for me. If he’s still projected to fall out of the top 10 when the draft rolls around we should 100% trade with the Thunder for both their picks. I had a dream we got collier and clingan then took a wild swing on AJ Johnson and I woke up happy.

  10. I’m a big fan of Topic and feel he will ultimately become the best point guard in the class, but I would not be surprised if someone like Dillingham became a star. That guy can BALL man, insane shift to his game and scoring. His assist numbers are not that high, but he also only plays like 20 minutes a game

  11. Dillingham. His shot creating skills is something you can’t teach, elite shooter and has playmaking flashes. Defense isn’t good but I would play him besides Bilal in the backcourt
