[Matheson] John Schneider joked Monday that the #BlueJays are “keeping the old horses in the stable a little bit.” They’re still facing live pitching and ramping up outside of games. Likely happens soon.

1. John Gibbons used to use this strategy and then we sucked in the first month of the season every year because none of the veterans were ready to hit.

3. [Cavan Biggio (shoulder) is hitting regularly off a machine and progressing well. That one still doesn’t sound too worrying, but we should have a clearer timeline in a few days.
