[Matheson] John Schneider joked Monday that the #BlueJays are “keeping the old horses in the stable a little bit.”
They’re still facing live pitching and ramping up outside of games. Likely happens soon.

John Gibbons used to use this strategy and then we sucked in the first month of the season every year because none of the veterans were ready to hit.
This is for Springer ?
[Cavan Biggio (shoulder) is hitting regularly off a machine and progressing well. That one still doesn’t sound too worrying, but we should have a clearer timeline in a few days.
George Springer and Kevin Kiermaier (veteran horses being kept in stable) will play tomorrow #BlueJays](https://twitter.com/KeeganMatheson/status/1762846672588062889?t=9yiEV-8fFBWdMFar1zzW_Q&s=19)
THE PEOPLE DEMAND THE OUTLAW
Keeping the old horses in the stable while Justin Turner out there like he’s 23 years old.
As much as I desperately want to see Georgie and Kevin, I acknowledge that it’s more important we have them in September/October than in February/March 😤
