  1. Man I’ve had my eye on Cooper for a while. Figured he’d test really well. Didn’t see this coming though

  2. The injury history is the biggest concern with Wilson (age isn’t great either). I’d be pretty nervous to see them use a premium pick on him, but if the medical report on him doesn’t have any red flags then he seems to fit the athletic profile but who the hell knows if he’s what Hafley is looking for?

  3. Part of me wonders if we’re gonna go with a sideline to sideline thumper to pair with Quay. But you know gutey is taking a long look at these two.

  4. Edgerrin Cooper has Offensive Tackle length arms

Edit: Jordan Magee also looked good. He was a late round gem that’s probably climbing to mid rounds now.

  5. Both are intriging options. Payton Wilson’s injury history is well known. Edgerrin Cooper is a popular potential target for the Packers. Take this for whatever it’s worth because I can’t speak to the truth of the report but this was written regarding Edgerrin Cooper

“He accepted an invitation to the East-West Shrine, but then declined to practice at the last minute. Cooper did not interview well with teams at the East-West Shrine, displaying a poor attitude and giving teams questions about whether they would want to add him to their locker room.”

  6. Not sure how legit it is, but word on the street is that Cooper is bombing interviews. If that’s true, that sucks, because as far as I can tell that would be the only major red flag. His game isn’t flawless, but he’s easily the best off-ball in the draft

  7. Payton Wilson is brothers with brewers pitcher Bryse Wilson. I did not know that.
