Canadiens @ Lightning 3/2 | NHL Highlights 2024

Point straight up the middle here he comes drops  it off to C in front and that shot goes high on   Kaden preall over on the near side boards that’s  Darren radish his shot is blocked and back in

Transition comes p with numbers kie a defenseman  in front wide open they score Aria on a two onone   and Montreal makes them they score first ke COV  have a collision in front of the net Kaden gy is

Able to get up first look how far behind Thea  coov is he just can’t catch up I think he even   got shaken up on the play and because of that  it’s a 211 there you go there’s the Collision

Cooa shaking up a little bit gly smart enough  to realize hey we’re getting out of the Zone   here we got one defenseman caught already I but  also Florida had only allowed two goals against   gag with a shot Anderson J sing away in front pass  Toki down and holds his ground Works across again

Harris near side Gallagher quick shot stopped by  bat soleski Edmond chips it away from Anderson who   was closing on him gager out in front tip scores  Jake Evans on a nice feed from Gallagher and it is

Two nothing MRE wow timing is everything here you  got to win battles for sure the pass is perfectly   time there’s a battle in the corner by Anderson  he’ll he’ll get the puck going to turn it over

But then watch Jake Evans he gets inside position  at exactly the right time Glen Denning is looking   what’s happening in the corner he’s aware of Jake  Evans but Evans is able to get inside position and

All it takes is a a redirection of the pass from  the corner and there’s not much vasel he can do   on this one there’s a really good look at it  back around the boards Nick Suzuki keeps it

Moving for slavkovsky slavkovsky back down lad to  Suzuki out in front oh and vasi came across and   that Ricochet is back out when Denny was getting  there but he didn’t get there quite in time the   lightning had got to be quicker defensively  In Their Own Zone giving up chances like that Saar

Knocked down and turned back by point point  up ahead for COV COV sweeps it across for   stanles stanles shoots hits the post and  preo COV again turns and shoots in it’s   deflected off a Canadian defenseman here’s CRA  again out in front step goes down L point he’s

Go the top line was doesn’t and  they get the bolts on the board 2-1 coov and stammer feeling it especially after  that last chance that he had John Cooper keeps   him out there with point and coov nice job along  the wall cooch involved as usual but it’s stammer

Who makes the play two guys jamming the middle of  the ice going after stamp Co in the prime scoring   area but the Lightning score so many goals  like that making passes out of the scoring

Area and another point for COV as well his point  streak now up to six gauge and here comes Hegel   bran Hegel he’s in St by Primo Hond at the top  his shot is off a stick and well wide into the

Corner Puck battle ensues Paul digs it out gets  in the C drop across Point wait P the sa rebound   Puck is still loose goes into the corner picked  up again by Celli stick check here by SL kovski

He go out of the corner centers it across  than score Anthony Celli ties this game it’s 22 great intensity and skill intense players  on the Tampa Bay Lightning terrific work by   Hegel under pressure in between two  guys hanging on to it and then Celli

Timing is everything we talked about that  with Montreal’s goal in the first period   while Hegel attracts the attention of  four guys in the white jersey serelli’s   timing to get into the open area and  call for it is perfect and so is the execution COV out of the corner with some space to

Anthony Celli out in front tip and  a save made by Primo on Hegel the glove on a broken play there inside the lightning  blue line in front of their own net now it’s new   hook Cuts in sa by baseski and a nice Chance  by Alex new hook Montreal starting to push back

A little bit after a surge from the lightning  Montreal with a puck again and oh I think bat   lski just got the toe on that one here’s Suzuki  again back to the line Savar double clutches   gets it away to Coffield Coffield near side  Jack guy calling forward slapping the stick

Is Coffield scores from distance Cole Coffield  buries it and Montreal has the lead back may it   tipped in front a goal scor is goal no I don’t  think so went in clean right over his shoulder   the lightning can collapse into the middle  of the ice that’s what they normally do but

Coffield is looking inside the post the entire  way Josh Anderson is in front so he’s a bit of   a screen there he got a really good look at the  concentration I think vasy maybe got a piece of

That maybe with his Pad you’ll see what vaski  saw and what he didn’t see he’s looking up and   to the left and then you have to get to that  blue line and you got a hold there and he’s got

Such a good stick there at the Blue Line Suzuki  carries the puck in turns it over and back the   other way shorthanded it’s mud with a break away  scores a shorthanded goal like Tyler B ties this

Game and that’s how you defend at a blue line  you turn it over everybody is committed on the   power play attack and that’s how you score he  takes a look over he knows he has Glen Denning

But he sees that there is a back Checker there so  he’s already decided but the super slowmo belies   how quick he pulls the trigger there that’s a  great look guys that is perfect Big Five hole   there back around the morth now into the corner  for Coffield Coffield to the line chaping out of

The box there’s a shot kick save by baseski  on that redirect David Saar backs it off the   end boards Harris back into the middle Here Comes  Suzuki their best player up the middle of the ice

Suzuki oh he hits the post as he had bsky beaten  headman Waits gives it up to cra again good jov   in front for Boyd he’s in stopped by Primo right  in very sight Bren Point had the game deciding

Goal in the shootout at Boston straight of the  middle point in stopped by Primo Cole Coffield   over on to the right side into the middle and  he scores very confident bass’s way out way out   he’s protecting against it’s it’s like he could  smell that shot coming B he’s there early watch

See look at that he’s taken away that forehand  shot the captain has to score here stamp goes to   keep the game going he scores yes sir top shelf  Sten St coach image only he goes High instead of

Low come in come in trust your forand shot get the  golender moving too far too fast and there’s room   back on the short side Victor Hedman also was  a game deciding goal this season here he comes

Scores post and in for Victor hman but he changed  the speed here beautiful shot right past the pad   over that little bit of pad and underneath the  blocker he faints to his right and now Joshua

Wall trying to keep Montreal alive B ly looking to  win it stopped him and the Lightning win it for 4 three

  1. I respect the Habs a lot. Great Stanley Cup series and each game against each other is always entertaining and well fought. GG from a bolts fan ⚡️

  2. The caul Caulfield is a DANGEROUS PLAYER you will have no peace until that he leaves your territory. I find that cheap soon as Caulfield gets the puck already 3 players are on him then he gets zero room to breath

  3. I wish they did not put those video suggestions at the end of the videos. It gives away who os going to win. I actually watch these highlighs instead of the live game, so it kinda ruins the ending.

  4. With this other loss, Canadiens' fans might react negatively, and that's understandable. But they lost again by one goal against a strong team. Two days ago they lost to the Panthers, another tough team, by one goal. And how many games have they lost by one or two goals? Plenty. The logical conclusion is not that the Canadiens have a bad team. A really bad team loses by 3, 4, 5 or more goals game after game. The conclusion to be drawn is that the Canadiens need to add at least two (or more) offensive players to their lineup. Once you add two or more good scorers to the team, most of those one-goal games that the Canadiens have lost this season will become wins. And Montreal will quickly become a playoff team, and a very good one at that. Don't make trades. Keep this lineup and find scorers on the free agent market. Keep Montembeault and Allen as your starting goalies. A the bright future is around the corner.
