Call me crazy or whatever, but I have a feeling Bol could be what the grizzlies are missing. We haven’t had a big for a solid year (excluding Bismack) and have been lacking on defence, due to departures of Brooks etc. But I have a feeling Bol could be what we’re missing, he’s good on defence and on his day, is quality on the ball. I understand that his basketball IQ isn’t the best, but with proper training and minutes he could become a vital player for us going forward. If we sign him, Ja (when he’s back) and GG, will have an outlet for pick and roles and the like. Until we can trade for proper centre, someone like Zubac, I think Bol is the best possible option.

This man can’t shoot free throws to save his life. We need a big man who can knock down free throws and at least be a threat to shoot from perimeter to open the floor in half court for the playoffs

I’d prefer a player with basketball IQ, a reliable jumper, post defense, post offense, good shot selection, ability to pass, ability to play make for others, strong enough to play with NBA bigs, Hustle & Motor, good attitude.

Nah let’s sign Claxton in the off season and draft a big to back him up. Can you imagine a starting five of Ja, Smart, Bane, Jaren, and Claxton with GG and Vince coming off the bench? Plus the draft pick, and whoever we keep out of Clark, Santi, Luke, Lamar, and Jitty? Let the championship window begin.
