When is his contract up?
I mean I guess he should go end his career in Detroit like everyone else…sigh
Sticking with Pittsburgh would cement his legacy and make his final years more meaningful.
Gretzky was still amazing in his later years, but he’ll always be an Oiler, and just seemed to bounce from team to team after that.
Compare that to Yzerman and Lemieux. Redwing and a Pen, for life!

I hope to see him in another jersey before his career is done. He’s a Pens legend no matter what. Just like Ray Bourque is a Bruins legend, Martin St. Louis is an all-time Lightning, Daniel Alfredsson is THE Sens icon, etc.
It would be so much fun to see him tear it up on a cup contender one more time before he hangs them up.
