A non-Chief retirement that hits a little bit harder than I figured it would. Between the mummer outfit speech and the shirtless shenanigans in Buffalo, the league is lesser for his leaving IMO.

The Eagles are a poverty franchise now
This is one of the first times I’ve been really glad to hear about an athlete I like retiring. He’s taken a beating over the years, and I was kinda worried he would play until he was physically unable like so many others (especially positions that don’t usually get a lot of attention).
Glad to see him go out still in good health and at the height of this popularity, and excited to see what he does next.
He may have retired an eagle, but his last Superbowl party was as a chief
