  1. we need cheap contracts, but I think at the very least we punt one and keep one for 2024

  2. I think they’ll trade 1 for future first and maybe move back on the other for a second or something

  3. Considering we are 12 guys deep, we will likely trade these for more picks. We are in a good position where we are competitive and have a ton of assets. So if the opportunity comes to get 2 picks for the current one, I’d do that.

However, if a guy they like slides to our pick, maybe go for it in case we are planning to trade them or other players on the team.

  4. This is such a good draft to get two late round picks who can contribute immediately. I really hope we dont trade any picks.
Where were at right now in the draft we could potentially add antonio reeves whos a walking bucket and kaleel ware whos like mitch who can shoot 3s.

Theres also a few 6’6 guards with potential and with the way the league is moving we need to draft and develop one of those as soon as possible.

  5. They’ve gotta add some cheap youth to their contract pile. They should absolutely use these picks.

  6. I bet we draft 1 player. Misi looks nice …. Mitch will probably be traded in the off-season and Precious is a PF

  7. Cheap depth. This culture and identity we have as a franchise is going to continue by using these picks to bring in young players instead of trading them for one way All Stars.

  8. Seems like a great time to keep at least one of them, if not both. Maybe a trade materializes on draft night or later in the summer, but from what I’ve heard about this draft, it’s weak up top but fairly strong in the 15-25 range. Would be awesome to pick up at least one solid rotation guy for cheap.

  9. They can consolidate the Dallas pick and our own to move up or trade one for a future first. I think the Knicks should definitely draft one player tho to have a cost controlled asset.

  10. This team as constructed is not rostering more than 1 draft pick. We’re definitely trading at least 1 of those picks.

  11. we lowkey need to reload on some young talent/contracts after the moves of the past six months

I don’t think we’ll use all our picks (we have a 2nd rounder as well) but I do hope we use at least one of first rounders. doesn’t have to be a guy that needs to play immediately, he can chill in the g-league for a year or 2.

a guy I would hope to get is johnny furphy, I like his game

  12. We need depth man. I’d rather take Isiah Collier at #16 as well. Only 2 PGs on the roster right now.

  13. Need to draft a big. IHart is likely to walk, Achiuwa is a FA, and Sims doesn’t look like much more than a rotational guy.

The team could also use a cheap guard to develop.

I think they make a pick and trade back for some heavily protected picks in future drafts.

  14. I feel like we have more need of a point guard that can be a backup to JB. maybe draft a euro stick man on the side as well

  15. Leon has proven that he can find quality talent with late first round picks. I trust him to make the right call

  16. I think we trade one and keep one, or package them and move up if there’s a prospect we like

  17. I think the Knicks plan to trade a package centered around Bogdan’s contract as well as other players and a million future picks for a superstar. In that scenario, the teams depth will be eaten up and some cheap contracts would do wonders. If no superstar becomes available then I see them trading the picks away again

  18. Cheap Depth. PG:Brunson/McBride. SG:Donte/Shooter in Draft. SF:Resign OG/Hart, PF:Randle/Resign Precious, C:Mitch Rob/Resign IHart. Can see a tweener big be draft as insurance incase Precious or IHart get overpaid by other teams. Letting Bogdonvic and Burks walk.

  19. My guess is the picks get flipped in a big trade or someone who can contribute right off the bench. We got no time to develop young guys especially without all the random injuries we’ve had.

  20. kind of want Ryan Dunn, a long athletic wing. His offense looks whack but he has crazy defensive potential

  21. They’ll make a pick and I wouldn’t be surprised if they make both because this isn’t really the draft that teams will trade future firsts to get into.
