Austin Gomber has made two spring training starts after Sunday and neither has gone well.
He allowed five earned runs on seven hits against the Dodgers and was unable to put together a rhythm — Mookie Betts hit a leadoff single to start the game, and Los Angeles didn’t slow down after. It came in 1 1/3 innings, and Gomber has been unable to make it through the second inning in either of his spring outings.”
