this concept is great. where does the voting happen?
i think if this grows, it needs a little bit of guidance just for consistency… like are we grading based on overall impact or relative to their expectations?
it’d be cool to get offensive + defensive ratings as well. special teams? PP / PK?
maybe ppl can write a short review about each player and the results show the most common word(s) written for that player..
but this is very cool. love the idea

At this point, I’m starting to think what you see is what you get. The biggest standout to me though isn’t the lack of production, it’s the lack of intensity and top end speed. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him make an aggressive play, he looks like he’s on the same gear the whole game. I see a lot of players huffing and puffing, looking thoroughly worked after the game, but Lindholm doesn’t look like he breaks a sweat. That’s the part that is the most disappointing IMO.
Even though he has been really good at faceoffs and a solid PKer, we just haven’t seen enough from him, especially to justify the cost of what we gave up. I really hope he’s saving that second gear for playoff time, otherwise, this isn’t going to be a trade that ages well.
Decimals are great for presenting the data. One suggestion is since we get to pick in .5 increments, the data might be better presented in the same way though that’s just my pov.
A little insane that Hughes gets an 8.2 for that game.
He was absolutely insane, dominated the puck the entire game, and was good defensively. Easily a 9 at minimum.
