General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that F Vasily Podkolzin has been assigned to Abbotsford (AHL).

2. I was happy he was called up and thought he played well during his two games. I still think he will have a successful NHL career

3. He played very well. He should be in this lineup over PDG.

4. He was playing well despite no points. It could be Podkolzin was being shown off to demonstrate his NHL readiness for a potential trade.

   Still, seems weird to reassign him to the AHL If he is being traded, unless another team is needing him to be in the AHL for cap or roster size purposes.

5. Alright here we go. Either someone else from Abbotsford is getting a sniff or there is a trade coming. Dak isn’t on the trip. Somethings gotta give here.

7. I thought he played pretty well, and I hope he gets a chance to play for a team that can give him loads of time in a market with less…pressure.
