Rookie of the Month snub gets Golden State’s Podziemski heated

Podz has outperformed any and all expectations, but you honestly cannot expect anyone to take him over the 2 undisputed ROTY candidates in Chet and Wemby. However, the competitive spirit is honestly really good to see after the lazy bumfuckery of Wiseman and ’23 Poole.
I never find it a good look to be upset about individual accolades.

Podz been amazing. Might very well be top 3 in this draft class one day.
Way above what is expected of him.
But wemby is like 10x better with 10x more work load. Chet is probably 2-3x better too carrying the load alongside sga at okc.

At least to me he plays like a vet. There are going to be many many teams that will be shaking their heads why they didn’t draft him before the dubs. I still remember MDJ saying that he was ranked higher on their board and it was an easy decision. Tbh I thought he was crazy drafting a guard when we needed a big. That’s why I’m happy being a poster and leaving the basketball decisions to a very competent front office.
Won’t get rookie of the year either you have to carry a weak team with no HOFers is my guess
