  1. So let’s try to guess how many games of the last 20 the Knicks can win. I expect the next 7 to be mostly losses but the last 13 we have a good chance to get 8/9/10 and make a push. So from now until the next two weeks we would fall into the Play In and the last three weeks of the season to get into a push for the #6 seed.

  2. I think we have a good shot of beating 76ers at home as long as Brunson is playing

  3. No Embiid and Maxey is out now too. The 2 Philly games and Portland should be Wins

  4. The rest of our schedule in general is tough. Even the lat 13. If we don’t get some help back, we are screwed

  5. Shit, all we need is Brunson and just one of the remaining three and we can ball through these clowns.

  6. I think we may go 10-10 depended on who’s coming back when, shaking off rust and getting our chemistry with the bench set. I don’t hate Burks but if this dude is in during an important moment of the game imma throw my ps5 out the window

  7. Getting the sixth seed and having our first round matchup be the Cavs would honestly be pretty ideal at this point.

  8. If you get OG and Randle back before that west coast swing, I’m not very worried. This team has shown it can roll of 7, 8, 9 straight wins. You get healthy and this team could be rolling into the playoffs even as a 5 or 6 seed.

  9. 20-0 in the last 20 games. Fuck it. You never know if, against the Nuggets and Kings, they can play organized, in-sync, gritty basketball like against the Cavs yesterday. And our guys should be coming back in two weeks. Although Randle, OG, and Mitch might still be raw, an extra body is always good.

  10. Man I would really like the 3rd seed or the 6th seed but the first seems nigh impossible and tanking for the 6th seed isn’t something that this team would do.Its a shame because we were looking like the 2nd best team in the east for some time but it’s a marathon and not a sprint, just keep building onto this.

  11. philadelphia does not scare me whatsoever idk why but orlando and all the west teams can definitely be losses

  12. If we lose both to Philadelphia then expect a huge shift in this subreddit.

  13. Injuries are the most frustrating thing in sports, We went from talking about the 2 seed to potential play in opponents, I hate it

  14. No Brunson + no Randle/OG and we’re lucky to go 2-5 for this stretch.

If Brunson is back, I’m hoping for 4-3

  15. we’re been playing poorly even with brunson. going to take a major turnaround for us to avoid the play in. the idea that randle and OG are going to come in and just light it up is optimistic to delusional. they’re going to take time to knock off the rust. i guess OG’s defense should be impactful right away but we’ll see.

wouldn’t be the end of the world if we end up 7th, win our play in game against the pacers then play the cavs in round 1.

  16. This is why we should probably be aiming for the 6th seed at this point. Gives us the best shot at making the Conference Finals with a hobbled roster.

    Eastern Conference Playoffs
    1. Celtics
    2. Bucks
    3. Cavs
    4. Heat
    5. 76ers
    6. Knicks
    7. Pacers
    8. Magic

    9. Bulls
    10. Hawks

    First Round Matchups:

    Celtics(1) vs Magic(8)

    Bucks(2) vs Pacers(7)

    Cavs(3) vs Knicks(6)

    Heat(4) vs 76ers(5)

  17. Realistically, with the squad we have and most likely will have by March 21st we go 4-3 in this stretch.

I think we’ll have Brunson back for Friday’s game and it’s a get back on track game for us, I think we’ll get the win there.

We’ll probably split sixers, take Portland and go 1-2 against Kings, Golden State and Nuggets.

If we in fact due end up getting back Randle and OG by mid March, there’s a chance we go 5-2. With a light schedule to wrap up the season.
