  1. Love it. Free this cap up. That whole defense was ass last year. Couldn’t believe what I witnessed in person at that Steelers game.

  2. To be expected, not entirely sure what he did to get such a big contract to start with!

  3. So about 41 mil in cap space. Probably have to spend more than half of that to keep Brooks and Williams.

  4. That means at minimum he passed his physical which is good to hear. Would’ve been complicated if he didn’t. It does suck though. From what I’ve seen he had a really rough surgery and recovery. I was hyped for him ngl

  5. Gut TF out of the roster; Mike has a six year contract; let him start over from scratch

  6. Tough break, but it had to happen. I feel like he had some good potential. However, after being out all last year to injury and only a mid at best half season before that, he’s definitely not worth 5 million.

I hope he can go get himself a vet min somewhere, stay healthy, and finally live up to his potential.

  7. No one is upset that Mone’s contract is done. Releasing him isn’t hitting a hard reset.

This was a good but expected move

  8. For the guy who was like “I’m surprised Mone wasn’t included in the cuts”

    Well, there ya go.

  9. Yupp. Time to trigger a bunch of people in here; Tyler you gotta either restructure, retire, or get released now. 27M is not in the budget if we’re trying to remain even remotely competitive this season.

  10. Well I called that in a post. I could also see Eskridge, Nick Bellore, and Lockett post 6/1.

  11. Clear out. Let’s face it all of these (not just Mone) needed to move on.

Lots of rebuilding work to do now…will take time.
