Bryce Young’s Year Two Trajectory (Film Breakdown)

Hadn’t seen this posted yet. Jordan Palmer has known Bryce since middle school. I love this breakdown and comparison to Trevor Lawrence (the trajectory, the year one dumpster fire, and the bounce back).

There’s really two opinions. It’s either
A) Jordan Palmer is just hyping up a kid he trained so he doesn’t look bad and he is bias. Young is a bust.
Or
B) situations that rookie QBs step into DO matter and the poor play by Bryce is mainly attributed to lack of oline, poor scheme, and bad weapons unable to get separation. He will show improvement in year 2 and beyond when they holes get fixed.
I tend to fall into the B camp. Jordan Palmer has watched way more film and has a vastly deeper understanding of this than any fan does and I genuinely trust his read that the situation last year was so shit no QB, stroud or otherwise would have had success.
Go get this kid some playmakers and more protection and I guarantee you we are gonna start picking up defenses.
