Reactions to Tyreek Hill’s comments on QB Tua Tagovailoa

Bro because that got us better when Pat did it, his family lived it. Okay, so Tyreke sharing his opinion on how things were done with his former quarterback. And now he’s got a current quarterback, Matt, uh, what do you think when you hear that from a division rival in

Like the state of the nation offensively with that offense I think with uh power offense that they had kind of beginning the year. Uh, if they get more in tune, it’s just going to be more dangerous in general though. Like that’s your franchise. Over the last couple of years,

Quarterback and the guy you paid over the moon for in Tyreek Hill. And he’s saying that he’s just starting to build this with Tua. Like would that be alarming to you as an offense I don’t think it’s alarming. Imagine imagine somebody almost having 2000 yards receiving and saying

Oh we haven’t even hit the best drive we can hit. I see and so I think he’s kind of saying we can only get better, but then again, if it hasn’t happen, will it happen? Great question. I think it’s interesting. I think it was, you know, of all the

Bluster we have from current players and everyone’s got a podcast and everyone’s talking like for him to say like, you know, we’re in my we’re looking to get to where we were with Mahomes, where we all just hung out and it was very casual and we all just were a crew. And

He’s saying here this year it’s going to get to that. We had some battles already, but it ain’t been a battle where it’s not like we can have a conversation, then we can come back the next play and be like, hey bro, I think you should do that. It’s been nah blank you.

I’ll talk to you later. Next week. Like, I love that, uh, Tua awesome dude. Great. Like ambassador for the sport. And I was saying, like, I don’t think we need to see anything more leadership wise from him, from our angle. Like, I just think the Dolphins lost again to the

Chiefs that way. And so now this off season, the challenge is a of course get to his long time deal done. If indeed he is the quarterback of the future. But B how do we get on this bike again. Because for the second straight year they were the hottest team in football in

September and October. And Mike McDaniel had these guys clicking and then they petered out at the end because they were either too injured or it was just too cold to play based on a -30 degrees up in Kansas City and Arrowhead. But remember, I’ve said this a

Lot. I don’t think the loss in Arrowhead is the is the sin for the Dolphins. It was the loss to the bills in the final week of the season, where they would have been hosting a playoff game had they won that game. Instead at home, they lose to Buffalo on

A Sunday night. Then you’re going to Arrowhead. That’s there’s no way to live, no, you can’t eat that way. I I was around these guys a little bit at the Pro Bowl. Like I was down there on the field. They come out together. They hang like it’s. Listen, they’re not

Sitting around making jokes and doing their handshakes and stuff, but like, there’s no weirdness. I sat there and watched him for a while. Great, fascinating human study just to watch these guys come out and when there are no cameras, no nothing obvious chemistry, total respect. And just more than

Anything, like if they don’t have a great personal relationship yet, the production is unbelievable label. They’ve been dominating statistics on the field. Even that Chiefs game when they had nothing, there’s still a lightning strike from two of to Tyreke. So it’s like all right well maybe we aren’t best friends yet. We’re working

On it but we’re already kicking so much on the field. And even without being it I think the best is yet to come. I still do. I this doesn’t really move the needle for me that much. I hate to say it, but like, I’m not surprised here. I think they’re

Both a little bit unique, but they’re already doing so well on the field. I don’t care the only reason why it was triggering for me to read it and then to hear it was a little bit of like the toe, like, that’s my quarterback protectiveness. Like, why did he

Have to bring Pat into it? Like, I want to know the parallel of that relationship and friendship. Like, couldn’t aren’t we in a in a in a Tyreek Hill era now where it’s like this is just about Tua. Like why did you have to pull. Because then you’re in your mind. My

Mind immediately went to like comparing it to like what that looks like as a team offensively because you’re looking at one relationship here. But in my mind what’s what’s tua’s connection or friendship because I have a connection, friendship and time spent outside with everybody else. It’s just I

Never my mind never went there with how Mahomes handles it outside of the building versus Tua, but now it does. Now I’m like running wild with it. Well, I think every 10s and tyreke’s life he’s probably asked about Mahomes and it’s just like he’s the best quarterback in the

World and you left him. And I just there will always be asked about yeah, you know even if he doesn’t bring it up, they’ll come up. I also think winning leads to that. Like the Chiefs have had so many good memories together, so many parades together, so many trips together

To, you know, just celebrated, celebrated, celebrated that. Pat Mahomes, of course, is best friends with everybody. Look what we’ve done. Look what we’ve accomplished. The Dolphins they followed, in short, the last couple of years. So for Tyreke maybe it’s like hey we just want to get to that point where it’s

So comfortable because we’re enjoying the good times. But go on talking with somebody else. You can’t bring talking with somebody else about your new girlfriend. You can’t bring up your old girlfriend. Okay And so that’s that’s what they’re gonna, that’s what people are gonna pick up about. Like, you

Could have just said, we just don’t have that chemistry yet. We just haven’t started going out to eat yet. We haven’t started going. But you didn’t have to compare it to somebody else. Because now, once you do that, that’s what the media pick up. Oh, look at us starting the

Our with exactly. You pick you up on it and then every everybody going to talk about it and even if Tua never addresses it he’s still hears it. And he’s like bro, you didn’t have to say that. Or you could have just came to me and talked about it.

But I think that’s, uh, kind of a podcast era kind of a yeah, everybody say stuff like you just sometimes you just get to talking and you don’t know how somebody else gonna take it or be offended by it. So hopefully, like, he can address like he said, address that with Tua. Um,

Be like, this is what I meant by it. Um, behind closed doors. And then they go on about it. And if somebody’s offended, then if y’all brothers enough and y’all are good teammates enough that you’ll get over it, because sometimes then what happens is now Tua, then goes on a pass.

Yeah. And then he has something to say. And you know, should he. And if so I ever heard Tua talk. He’s he’s a little. You’ve played against him several times as he talks Mac no no he he don’t talk smack. Real respectable a real good guy. Uh I haven’t ever heard him talk.

You never heard ju ju chirp him like to try to rattle him. Because I know you do that a little bit. Yeah, a little bit.

  1. 3:55 the reason Tyreek brought up his relationship with Mahomes is because he was trying to give an example of the direction they were going in, and his similar past experiences. He was trying to say that he and Mahomes didnโ€™t just jump out of the gate with the perfect chemistry and connection. They had to build it. Thatโ€™s what he was trying to say that he and Tua were still in the process of ironing out. The only reason he mentioned Mahomes is because thatโ€™s the only other NFL QB he spent enough time with to have the time to build that kind of connection with. It could have been Al Bundy, that part was irrelevant to the point of the story.

  2. With the 5th pick in the 2020 NFL draft the miami dolphins will regret drafting Tua Tagovailoa, weak arm injury prone quarterback from Alabama ๐Ÿฅ๐ŸŸ๐ŸšŒ๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿฅ‹๐Ÿง”๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ—‘๐Ÿšฎ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜’

  3. Miami doesn't lose in December and January because its cold. They lose because by that time defenses already know McDaniel's offense and McDaniel doesn't adjust. He keeps repeating the same plays over and over, so he make it easier for the other team to stop them. Miami doesn't lose on defense on December and January, they lose on offense.

  4. Tua is not a playoff caliber winning quarterback, so if he's not good enough to beat the best teams during the regular season, what makes people think that he is worth wasting money on just to never get us to a super bowl or even a AFC championship game ๐ŸšŒ๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ›๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿฅ‹๐Ÿง”๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ—‘๐Ÿšฎ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿ†™๏ธ

  5. He was a chief, and he was with a Super Bowl winning team, and he possibly associates what went on in KC as what it takes to win an SB. It's that simple. Yet, the only way to what he ment is to ask Tyreek Hill.

  6. Tyreek has been there for two years and still doesn't have a friendship that has full honesty with Tua? It seems to me from the outside that the accountability isn't there from an organizational standpoint. If you're honest – even if its harsh – in the film room, practice field and locker room, then being honest at dinner is easy. Its just a continuation of an existing conversation. That said, Tua is pretty defensive (sometimes argumentative) in his pressers so maybe he doesn't take critique very well. Mahomes has come off the exact opposite where he either owns up to mistakes or takes blame for things that aren't even his to claim. Its probably a lot easier to talk about things with Patrick because of his personality and because the Chiefs organization doesn't care as much about feelings as they do getting better and winning more. I absolutely love Mike McDaniels, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if the atmosphere is a little more touchy in Miami than it is in Kansas City.

  7. Thatโ€™s all Tyreek can do is talk. He misses the kingdom so much he canโ€™t stop talking about it. He got his money like he wanted. Chiefs Kingdom Chop Emโ€™ Up!!! Two more rings without Tyreek!

  8. Yall really need to stop going off clips.. and watch a whole segment.. cuz yall be sounding really dumb making false negatives and those of yall in the comments eating this mess up… he was specifically asked about the difference between how it was with the cheifs and now with miami

  9. Tyreek just be talking..win some games.. I'll keep posting this..offense last 3 games 32 possessions 5 td's 2 fg's 12 punts 6 turnovers 5 turnovers on downs.. Stop talking and do better..
