  1. Coyle was also suspended $5000 for cross checking Bertuzzi. Kadri was also suspended 5 games as a result of the aftermath.

  2. Now do Coyle’s cross check on Bertuzzi (who was bleeding after the fact, btw).

Edit: looks like he got fined too. A shame the refs didn’t properly assess him a double-minor for it.

  3. you are apparently supposed to just sit there and take getting speared in balls. cool league

  4. Yeah, kinda deserved. The fact he was speared probably save him a suspension

  5. What are your thoughts on the marchand hit on knies? He’s very accident prone, and I feel like despite it being an “accident” he shouldve gotten suspended for a couple. No more of this shit

  6. Do players on the team throw down money in a pot to “thank” the fine getter?

  7. I also want to add; hilarious how this is a 5k fine and Rielly gets the finger wag from the League for 5 games. League doesnt want players to retaliate to disrespect but this is different? lol

  8. Can we crowdsource this money and pay it on behalf of 31 other team fans, Liliegren, and some players who’ve had their faces licked by Marchand?

  9. Cross-checking? He just lost control of his stick.

Also, Marchand fell down on his own. Any incidental contact was just McCabe trying to prevent Marchand from getting injured when he fell.

  10. Fuck Brad Marchand. POS. I love Jake McCabe, steadily climbing as my favourite player not wearing 34.

  11. Someone drop a gofundme. Not because I think McCabe needs the money, but because I’d like the chance to feel like I personally contributed to Brad Marchand getting cross checked in the face.

  12. And yet here I was thinking that he was going to get suspended. But at least player safety didn’t wait three days to report the discipline.
