We have a clear, free-from-barriers opportunity to draft a potential franchise-altering QB. If they pass on that opportunity, Ryan Poles will have to *at minimum* make the playoffs this year or he will be fired.
Devin definitely doesn’t know offense.
Again, justin fields has an elite pr team. Fuck off former and current players trying to keep the bears from greatness
This is a real post by hester. I don’t agree with any of it, i just thought it was funny
Hope Devin doesn’t have any front office aspirations.
In this scenario, does Fields suddenly learn how to read defenses and pass?
Sorry but Fields isn’t him. Trubisky had better passing numbers here.
I feel like former players aren’t comfortable with the idea of being replaced with a younger, more talented version of themselves. For obvious reasons. They are projecting that insecurity onto the Fields discussion imo
He could have 5 hall of fame wrs and will still hold the ball too long, have a long wind up, and not throw them open
ENOUGH WITH THIS SHIT
No
Why would Ridley or any other big FA WR want to sign here if Fields is the QB? How much would the Bears have to massively overpay a FA to be WR3 to Moore and Harrison Jr and likely take a significant hit to their production?
The Ravens with Lamar have trouble getting FA WRs to sign and he’s a higher volume passer than Fields.
Does he know that no one in the NFL wants JF1 to be their starting QB as of now?
And who are his linemen or do we just wad on skill positions?
That group would have zero Pro Bowlers.
All these weapons would be nice but it doesn’t let a mediocre QB read a zone defense any better
All of those weapons just to watch Fields hold the ball for 30 seconds and get sacked
Chicago.sports.fan.daily is a cultist
If Fields was incredible and proved it last year, then yes these additions would be dynamic.
Swap Fields for Williams
All jokes aside, that is a stud receiving core haha.
I don’t think this is the right move, but god DAMN does it look good.
It’s funny that it’s obvious Fields is the weakest link and least accomplished
Not enough.
Need a couple of more receivers to throw for over 200 yards.
Well if anyone can convince Fields to try and catch passes I guess it would be Hester…
That would be awesome if 9th back was Turner and Fields didn’t suck but alas
All those weapons and still just 2,500 yards passing
I trust Poles will do what’s right, and sadly it’s trading JF. Caleb is just a much better prospect.
It’s just a bummer that he’s not an above average QB because my god would that have opened up some amazing possibilities for them with some front loaded contracts for FA and the draft capital.
If we kept Fields this would be setting him up in the best way possible. Not sure what that would look like, but any questions about him would be answered.
I don’t think Poles pays for a elite RB. Unless we draft an sleeper, these mid to late rounders are what we should expect. Also, didn’t Ridley have a bunch of dropped TDs last year?
Justin is the weakest link here by far, which is why we’re drafting Caleb. The league is telling us what they think of him by having zero interest. A 2000 yd, 16 TD, 40 sack QB isn’t exactly enticing.
This idea is about as good as the font consistency.

Devon sharing his madden team is cute

Only thing we’d be missing is a QB!!
Just a lot of losing in 1 picture.
Look all those guys for Fields to not throw to
Still won’t break 3000 passing yards
