Day #26 of posting a random Lion until the NFL Draft – Nevin Lawson

“Pass interference, defense, #24.”
If he would’ve ever turned his head around to locate the ball he would’ve been an All Pro.
It took him something like 6 years to get his first career interception. I’m pretty sure he had more 50+ yard PI calls in that time.
He was really good
He was also really bad
Weird player
Do that bum Aaron berry next
Cursed
Nevin “Pass Interference” Lawson to you.
You’re gonna do one from the draft to the start of the season right?
The king of great positioning but shitty ball hawking
I was at the game in Charlotte when he suffered a serious leg injury (compartment syndrome if I recall right) and it just so happened that the Panthers team doctor was an expert on it and immediately started treating him. He made a full recovery.
First play that comes to mind, his strip and fumble six against Cleveland
Fun fact, I was at Utah State when he played there. He was always making huge plays there, at least the games I attended
