Super interested to see if Augustine goes pro next year. As an extremely biased Spartan who has immensely enjoyed watching the resurgence of our program, I want him to stay in college. But if MSU has a really strong NCAA tourney, especially if they win it, Augustine will have had one hell of a D+1 season with a World Juniors Gold and a B1G regular season title, plus all his individual stats. Wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest to see him in GR next year.
I’m just happy Norway got a shorty in on him in the juniors!
As a Norwegian it’s pretty cool to be one of the few who did that against such a beast of a goalie! We very rarely do these impressive things lol. And as a wings fan I can be happy we have such a beast coming up!
Not a state fan by any means but I have no problem rooting for this kid.
Just out of curiosity, who is the elite prospect that ranked higher than him in those other categories, or was it multiple people?
It’s an obvious guarantee he’s gonna retire only playing for the wings with multiple vezinas, Stanley cups, and a conn Smyth
As well as scoring at least 1 goal and beating the shit out of our biggest rivals goalie
Honestly, the national ranking is even more impressive than just the big 10 numbers.
