Holy shit. Not even a trade? Did the Giants lose that much leverage when they signed Chapman?
A’s are gonna claim him and he’s gonna walk into the other dugout in this game
genuinely surprised that we couldn’t find someone to trade with for him, he’s a pretty solid player on his last year of team control and that can’t get any interest?
Kind of surprised nobody would trade a lottery ticket prospect for him or something.

kind of a disaster scenario. have to imagine theyd have taken on the entire contract in a trade if theyre willing to waive him, so they basically got nothing for a decent starter last year.
He should reinvent himself as a relief pitcher since he has experience with that anyway.
Yanks might hop all over this after missing out on signing Kike and Rosario
Better than Baty/Vientos, bring him back.
