9. My wish list for tonight’s game:

   1. A win.

   2. Birthdays have been good for us recently. Today is Rielly and Holmberg’s birthday, so let’s have a goal from one of them.

   3. It’s Joel Edmundson’s first game as a Leaf, and against his old team too. He’s thought of as a physical guy, but he’d only be 13th on the team in hits. Let’s step that up with three hits from the big defenseman, especially in the absence of the team’s leading hitter in Benoit.

   4. It’s also Connor Dewar’s first game as a Leaf, and he’s been billed as a great PK guy. Let’s see no power play goals allowed wile he’s on the ice.

   5. Matthews has been on a slump by his standards lately. Let’s see a goal from him tonight.
