I just stumbled upon an all-time Good Giant. Steve Filipowicz played 1943-44 for the NY Giants, hitting .203 with a .543 OPS in 164 PA. However, he absolutely destroyed the Dodger Bums: hitting .390 with a historically stellar 1.139 OPS over 45 PA! Oh he ALSO played in the NFL, for 1 team: NY Giants

  1. As a Giant, he hit for a .261 OPS against every team other than the Dodgers. So his OPS against the Bums was 4x his OPS against EVERYONE ELSE! That disparity (4.3+X) is an all-time record. History!
