  1. Wemby with a decent game just couldn’t buy a bucket to get us back at the end. It happens just glad big fella is back

  2. On track for 31-51

Tale of two halves, they are going to be more consistent!

    Go Spurs Go!

  3. Wemby looked a touch rusty but still filled the stat sheet. We don’t need to acknowledge the dunk at the end of the game. Hope he plays tomorrow

  4. Vic 10-25, Devin 5-14, Malaki 1-8, really inefficient shooting night. Barlow was unplayable today. That being said if Vic had hit his free throws instead of going 4-9 it would have gone down to the wire :S

When we hit our open 3’s and spread the floor, we tend to be really competitive. When we can’t, we struggle because teams will collapse

  5. I don’t mind these games from Vic. If he wants to be an A+ passer I think that’s great but there’s going to be growing pains to get there. I dunno how many people remember tearing their hair out Ginobili’s rookie year, same kinda thing.

  6. Weird to see people saying Vic was bad tonight. 27/14 with a few assists and blocks is an objectively good night for 99% of players, so it’s insane this was an “off” night for him.

  7. That stretch in the third really killed us. I get the whole “learning through adversity” but goddamn we needed to use a timeout bad.

  8. just wish our team recognize when vic is hot. man wemby starts cooking and we wasted 2 possession going to devin 🥴

  9. Apparently the Raptors are beating the nuggets at halftime even though they only have Dick. Let’s wish them well

  10. Got 5 stops in a row in the 4th. Could have easily caught up but missing a steady experienced point guard to settle the players and run the sets. So much wasted energy.

  11. so many of vic’s shots barely rimmed out at the end… guess the basketball gods wanna keep our egos from gettin too big lol

  12. Just a bad shooting night. Outside of the 3rd quarter, it was a well fought match. GGs

  13. That 20-2 run by the Warriors really put this game out of reach despite the 4th quarter heroic. Everyone played bad tonight, with some very uncharacteristic misses by Dev and Wemby. I think Pop should have given Barlow a bit more run with Zach out there since both Blake/Malaki were struggling.

  14. Damn, the difference between Pop’s demeanor in last game’s post-game press conference vs. this one is stark. If I were a reporter, I genuinely wouldn’t ask any questions on nights like tonight. Lol.

  15. Man that poster on wemby was insane, gonna have to avoid watching that cus its gonna be everywhere

  16. Time to trade Wemby. He fills the stat sheet but no winning and the team is just better without him as we saw the last 2 games. ESPN said he’s leaving anyways so let’s get those 15 first round picks.

  17. Wemby rustiness definitely caught up with the team, missed FTs etc. The team as a whole gave a pretty good effort, can’t really complain about anybody apart from poor shooting. Wemby’s shots late could’ve been better, the open 3s were ok-ish.. some of the turnarounds need more work.. but he was the reason the team got back int it anyway. It’s just a rough game where nobody else really had it going so its hard to argue who else should take the shots there.

  18. Ugly last few minutes and shooting rust is real. Wemby still had an incredible stat line. Jackson-Davis actually got his poster wish at the end that he was hunting the entire game for.

  19. Manifesting Wemby playing tomorrow. Rockets fans chirping too much after that Sengun performace

  20. Devin can’t be a second option with that shot selection. Curious who Wemby’s Pippen will be in the coming years

  21. Definitely frustrating that this game was there for the taking. Simply left points at the line and didn’t make enough shots. On to the next one

  22. Man. Kind of a sucky loss. Especially after the last game, I was hoping they’d get another win. Warriors played good defense on Wemby, but Wemby did pretty well adjusting and kicked the ball out to open shooters. Wemby did make some great 3s, but, overall, his shots weren’t falling particularly well. Especially the free throws. Usually he’s making most of those, but not tonight.

Worst issue, though, was turnovers. That and perimeter defense continue to be a serious problem for this team. The team was pretty bad at defending against Chris Paul’s mid-range shots. Hopefully, the team plays more cohesively against Houston.

  23. Spurs watched film from Saturday’s game and said “nah let’s not do anything that made us win the game last time”.

  24. So am I the only one who thought that dunk was reckless? He clearly wrapped his hand around Vic’s arm and pulled it down. Whatever player he does that too could land a number of bad ways

  25. Warriors brought playoff level intensity after what happened last game. We responded pretty well all things considered. Came down to turnovers in third which killed our momentum and juices them up. Also the Barlow plus Wemby minutes just weren’t working. Pop went to it twice and both times we looked like we couldn’t do anything on offense. Let’s just stick to Wemby plus spacing Pop thanks.
