The Dallas Mavericks defeat the Chicago Bulls, 127-92. For Dallas, Luka Doncic led the way recording his 17th triple double of the season, 7th consecutive, and 73rd of his career with 27 points (6 3PM), 12 rebounds, and 14 assists while aided by Dereck Lively II (22 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 blocks) and Daniel Gafford (20 points, 7 rebounds, 9-9 FG) in the victory. Onuralp Bitim finished with 17 points and 6 rebounds with DeMar DeRozan tallying 13 points for Chicago. Dallas improves to 37-28, while Chicago moves to 31-34.
Daniel Gafford sets a new record for consecutive FGM in the play-by-play era (since 1997-98) with 23 consecutive baskets without a miss:

Mavs look great against a team that plays no transitional D whatsoever.
Love Gafford and Lively but lets be honest that was about the worst defensive showing ive seen this year from an opponent. Two or three times Lively got in front of the ENTIRE defense for easy dunks. Bulls have no one down low.

The Mav.s are just now healthy and really have only had a few games to build chemistry after the trades. We'll know a lot in the next 15 or so games. Their 5 Vuch was gassed in the 4th having to play against a rested Gafford or Lively. That is going to wear teams down. There is no offensive drop between them like when most bench centers come in to spell the starter .

I hope Jason Kidd realizes how important Gafford and Lively are to the team. That inside scoring relieves the perimeter players.

man its all fun and games with Luka with his triple doubles, but when the playoffs come around, we need to get some better defense from him. He doesnt contest any shots and when there's a turnover against him, he will just like give up and not even run back. In the playoffs they will shut him down with heavy personal defense and his diva behavior will come out and complain with refs blablabla no more triple doubles and especially no defense. @5:51 perfect example. Just my youtube baller observation.
