Yea no Kooch is a no question starter on 30 teams not named Florida or Winnipeg
Who says he isn’t a starter anymore?
Kooch is getting there.
but he’s not someone i’d want to bet on in the playoffs. he can be a bit rash sometimes. Lets in an easy one or one through his legs.
Don’t get me wrong, he’s better than Ned who was the kind of the flashy save and lets in an easy one.
Are these stats strictly against each other?
I don’t disagree with the larger sentiment that Kochektov is a legit nhl goalie but using Shesterkin’s stats from this year is kinda cherrypicking and making a false equivalency. Shesterkin is having a bad year by his standards, seeing as if he maintains the current pace, it’ll be the first time in his career he didn’t clear .915.
SIngle handedly keeping us in this one. Be nice if the rest of the team shows up.
