If we cut Woods it should bring us up to about 31.5 million in cap space. Then we might be able to sign Curl or Simmons and maybe even bring back Nelson.
All that happens we’re basically set to go BPA come the draft.
I mean, I doubted and I’ll admit that 🤷🏻♀️ I wanted Barkley but idk if Nick would have signed both him and hunter and hunter is far more valuable than Barkley so it worked out. Excited to see if he does anything today (we need a safety!) and then which CB they grab at 23.
Still don’t like the Joe Mixon choice but it’s done so is what it is. Great job overall though. Hunter and Al-Shaair are hype pickups.
And no mention of Lonnie lol

Where all the meltdown merchants to tell us how ACKTUALLY the media always gets it wrong, and in reality we’re the LEAST improved team if you approach everything from the viewpoint of a bedwetting pessimist.
Genuinely feels good to have a GM that makes good moves. Armchair GMs were loosing their collective shit after the first few hours of the cycle beginning. After last year I’m completely worry free about whatever moves the front office makes. Within reason lol.
FA or draft rankings bad: Anyone who cares is foolish, you need to wait a few years to know anything. The media is a bunch of clowns.
FA or draft rankings good: Great analysis, never in doubt.
I remember the shit Texans fans were saying about him after the first day of free agency. Caserio lowkey cooked with the contracts also, all of these guys will be off the books when it’s time to pay stroud, waj, stingley etc

Every single user who was bashing Nick Caserio two days ago should be put on a list that is not allowed to post on this subreddit for the first 24 hours of any future free agency period. Some of you kids need to learn some patience. My goodness.
I’m kind of surprised we’re ranked so high. Usually we’re downplayed at first and then when the season starts It’s all “Hey… actually this player was a great pickup” and “Man the Texans got some great deals.” Nick is generally more subtle in free agency but I guess the Hunter signing put him on the map.
Remember when they used to slight us at every turn? Now we find ourselves unquestioned at the top of lists like this 👏
