As I was walking around the mural area of the terrace club last year, I saw Cammy standing right outside the broadcast room chatting with a Mariner employee. I didn’t want to interrupt him so I stuck my fist out to him as I walked by and he immediately bumped back and shifted his body towards me and warmly said “oh what’s up man, glad you’re here, nice jersey” (I was wearing a teal Ichiro). I just like to share that story whenever I see his name cause he was really fucking cool and it made me happy.
Seriously one of the most delightful players to follow in the last 3 decades, and we’ve had our fair share!
