The team needs to bring back the blue goal spotlight for the playoffs

  1. I don’t remember exactly when they stopped using it, but it genuinely added so much to each goal. Not to mention the pettiness to leave the spotlight on the goalie.

I think the team is planning on using “Where The Streets Have No Name” as their playoff walk-on song as well. Between that, the Green Men, and the spotlight, I just want them to feed my nostalgia

  2. I’m probably in the minority but I’m ok without goal spotlights. Reminds me of the 2010-ish Oilers, like huge fanfare as Nail scores the lone goal in a 6-1 loss.

  3. The league cracked down on it right? No one spotlights the goalie like that anymore do they?

I remember the flames one basically being a red strobe light. Crazy obnoxious.

  4. Fuck as a late 90’s kid growing up idolizing this team, I remember the west coast express days in those glorious red gradients, the years of the sedins kesler lu and bieksa running this team. From where the streets have no name, to those 4 big banners hanging above the ice on each corner of the rink. To the white towels waving and the blue strobe, those were the best years of my life watching this team. But man watching this team this year hits different.

  5. Would be cool to add a light, or add a sound effect when we finish a PK, feel like the sound effect could be a sound advantage for the team. I know Denver has the growing Mario sound when they kill a PK
