What historical trade hurt you the most?

Eddie to San Jose will always be mine.

  1. That pic is so wrong. I honestly forgot about this trade. I think I tried to block it out. Pretty successfully, too. But now the feels are coming back up.

  2. I loved Dustin Byfuglien with my whole heart. I made the Thrashers/Jets my second team. Them getting Andrew Ladd and their farm team being located in Rosemont later on was another reason.

  3. There were so many hard decisions during our dynasty years that they all seemed to soften the blow each time. You knew tough cuts were coming each time.

That being said, Hjammer was such a tough pill to swallow. That probably hit the hardest for me

  4. Big Buff, I remember the line of him alongside Toews and Kane. But recently wise, it’s Panarin.

  5. Roenick…. but the McCabe for Karpovtsev sent me over the edge too. Not that McCabe was a Norris trophy candidate or anything, but i knew they got a rotten bag of trash back in return for him.

  6. How do you go through any trade list without Wayne Gretzky to ST. LOUIS BLUES. How was this horrible trade to a deadbeat city ever allowed?
Gretzky to L.A. still makes me feel things I don’t like talking about.

  7. Over 2-3 years it was Roenick for fucking Alexei Zhamnov, Belfour for a bag of dicks to the Sharks, and then Cheli to Detroit for Anders Erickson. 3 core guys who were our absolute studs and we got nothing for them

  8. Anyone saying Hasek doesn’t understand that at the time he was just not panning out. He likely never would have either living in the shadow of the Eagle

  9. Not a trade, but leaving Doug Wilson unprotected in the expansion draft, I loved Dougie.
