  1. can’t wait for the buzzer to be added too

inb4 Jake Elliot leads the league in buzzer beaters

  2. Why isn’t this already a rule? What’s the disadvantage or issue of them not displaying it?

  3. The game of football was born as an approximation, evolved into a game of inches, and will die as an argument of milliseconds.

  4. Nah. This is unnecessary. Would turn the end of half’s and the end of the game into what the NBA has turned into.

And if you think refs are going to be fairly judged because they missed a call by .2 tenths of a second? At that point just get robot refs.

  5. Is that gonna help nick sirianni not waste 20 seconds of clock in the final 2 minutes?

  6. If it means I didn’t have to listen to people whine about delay of game I’m all for it

  7. Seems to me like the real issue is less about the accuracy or exactness of the clock itself and more about operator error.

Doesn’t matter whether it shows milliseconds if the ref isn’t looking, or if the time keeper is playing favorites.
