  1. Doubtful, bears want a lot for fields. We’re better off getting someone cheaper in the draft as a project and signing Wentz to back up stafford

  2. I think field processing and quick decision making are traits you either have or don’t, can’t really be taught. Fields doesn’t have it. Great athlete, decent arm. But he doesn’t have the feel for NFL football.

  3. Would love to see him get a chance to turn it around. Bears have never developed a QB. Real shame he ended up there. Has plenty to learn from Stafford. I wonder what the Wentz offers look like.

  4. I think the RAMS should try to set things up to draft either Michael Penix or Jordan Travis.

That would give the RAMS a really good rookie back up on a smallish rookie contract.

  5. Whoever we pick needs to be very young because they could wait behind Stafford for the next 3 years.

  6. Do we have the cap space for Fields? Or put another way, do we want to use cap space for Fields?

  7. I’d take him for cheap just bc I’d be excited to see what mcvay would cook up with a fast qb

  8. Stetson started practicing again. Would love to see him get a chance. But I feel like his times running out. So I agree that they need to start going for a backup. Like Travis or try to snag Penix in the second

  9. McVay wants a rushing QB so *fucking* bad. See Bryce Perkins, Jon Wolford and what he did with Wentz last year. I would not only not be surprised if this happened, I’d be stoked. Backup QB on a rookie deal that won 7 games last year that has a small chance to be our franchise QB or maybe at least a Taysom Hill like player but at the RB position. That’s a fucking fun coin flip to make and the coin you have to flip is getting cheaper by the minute.

  10. Fields cap hit this year is $6 million. I dont think the Rams would pay that + give up draft picks just for him to ride the bench all year and then be a FA after that.
