  1. Shaq has said some wild stuff over the years, this isn’t one of them. Bosh was great, but he wasn’t “dominant”. Bosh was gearing up to be that focal until the clots ended his career, but we never got to see him be the guy.

  2. Bosh was great, but he only made 1 All-NBA team in his career and it was a 2nd team. Arguably he was never a top 10 player either.

  3. One of the main reasons LeBron decided to leave, with Wade gone LeBron needed that dominant teammate to have a shot at championships and he felt Bosh could not be that takeover kind of guy and he wasn’t wrong

  4. Bosh was dominant in Toronto. Coming to the Heat in the prime of his career hindered his personal stats but he got 2 rings out of it and a good amount of money so I’m sure he’s not upset.

  5. I would agree with Shaq here as Bosh wasn’t dominant, but his impact was underrated in Miami. He was very important to our defensive scheme at the time and was one of the pioneer big men who could help space the floor and clear out the lane for LeBron and Wade.

  6. Shaq always gets hung up on it whenever someone calls another player *dominant* because the feels like it threatens his “title” as the most dominant player of all time.

I wouldn’t call Bosh dominant either, but it’s weirdly funny, he gets defensive whenever that word gets thrown around

  7. Don’t care if we can call him dominant or not, Bosh has the most critical rebound + assist in HEAT history.
