  1. I’m confused why we would need PHI to lose. We won the H2H tiebreakers over Miami and Indiana and both have 30 losses. Miami plays Indiana 1 more time meaning one of them has to drop to 31 losses.

We can’t have a 3-way tie at this point so we already can’t be 8th. A win alone should do it, no?

  2. I wonder how Mazulla is gonna play it if the Celtics maintain their 9.5 and clinch the east with 2+ weeks left in the season. Id imagine he will give a lot of rest and games off for Porzingus and Horford and probably rotate days off for the rest of the starters. But Im sure he’ll play the full squad against good teams to keep the chemisty improving and make sure there is no rust come playoffs. It would be valuable to get the bench unit some big minutes playing with each other too. For the playoffs it seems obvious that Kornet, PP, Hauser fill out an 9 man playoff rotation with Brisset and Tillman getting minutes occasionally. I doubt Queta or anyone else works their way into playoff rotation barring injuries. It’s a pretty deep team considering Tatum, Brown and White are capable of playing 40 minutes a night in the playoffs.
