I definitely think bigger signings are coming. Ballard knows we’re in the window with a cheap QB and the need to compete especially with our poor playoff attendance under his guidance.

Not trying to be a hater but would much rather sign Kam Curl… 7 years younger, and a SS instead of FS. If im not mistaken Cross has spent the majority of his time developing as a FS… So im a bit confused as to why we would target a FS and move one of them to SS instead of just getting a SS lol
Edit: Cross is more of a SS after doing a little more research lol, but Kam Curl has played both FS and SS so i still think its the smarter fit

I like this so I will disregard the legitimacy of the source and act like Schefter reported it
Is he an upgrade over Blackmon?
Ehhh. In 2023 Quandre Diggs was 87th of 95 safeties via PFF. Kam Curl was 50th, Blackmon was 38th, Rodney Thomas was 78th.
I know that PFF isn’t the Bible but Kam was ranked better and is way younger. I’m not super interested in Diggs. I’d love to be proven wrong though.
