[Marino] Strong winds in the direction of Sneed returning to Kansas City to play on his tag. Couple of teams (Colts, Dolphins, Lions) were aggressive in pursuit of Sneed but either went in other directions or are hesitant to give up draft picks.

  1. This was probably always the case. Why not stay to be part of a potential 3-peat in a winning organization with the best QB in the NFL?

  2. Kind of figured that would happen with this signing. Still go get Diggs or another safety and pick up a free agent corner; If not a corner might be the best 1st round pick, due to the wr position being deep this draft.

  3. Ballard hesitant to give up draft capital for someone that could change the tides immediately?🫢 cant be rigbt

  4. Figured he’d likely stay. KC obviously still very much in win now mode and would take something silly to pry sneed from them

  5. Makes sense. I don’t think it’s worth it for the chiefs for a third and pick 47 is too valuable for Snead, getting a player under a rookie contract.

  6. Well, we didn’t go in another direction so it sounds like we just thought we were going to get him literally for free.
