  1. I would rather re-sign Rudy Ford, if I’m being totally honest. He was pretty good for us. Probably won’t be too costly, and he’d be a good depth piece.

Solid on defense & special teams, he is one of the best gunners in the league.

Ford allowed a 40.9% completion percentage, the league’s best for safeties with at least 300 snaps. 30.1 passer rating allowed in coverage this season…1st among Safeties

  2. This has been posted a few times already and the more I think about it the more skeptical I become. I think it’s more likely they have an offer out to a younger preferred option and this may be just to give them a nudge towards signing the contract offered

  3. Hyde is a FS. He feels like a backup rather than the strong/box safety type we’re looking at next to McKinney.

  4. Fuck yes. Please let this happen. Would obviously still need another in the draft because Hyde is old but I would be pumped if we got him back

  5. Are there any project safeties that might be all pro in a year or two? If Hyde comes home, we’d be able to delay drafting them and get someone elsewhere.

  6. Bills (and Packers) fan here.

I hope Micah retires. For his and his family’s sake. Still a good player, but they have a newborn kid at home and I want to make sure Micah can enjoy it.

  7. that would be sick if he came back as the defensive veteran but I don’t trust these sources
