I didn’t think I would be so happy for him and yet simultaneously still so deveststed. I think since we’re the same age, I played ball for 14 years, favorite player on the favorite team… this one hits.
My football GOAT went through the meat grinder for a decade. So glad for him and his family to get to ride off into that millionaire sunset.
We’re lucky to have a team that shot every shot to put a Super Bowl contender around AD. I watched the Niners squander Willis, the Texans squander JJ, the Panthers utterly draining Kuechly… the Rams shot the moon for AD more than once.
