Fans want change ➡️ change starts to happen ➡️ fans complain about change 🤦‍♂️😂

Let's give this time, let the front office and HC do their thing and ⚡🆙. Worst case scenario is we're still rubbish, gotta try something new if we want a different outcome.

  1. This is going to be an unpopular thread, but I agree.
Let’s see what the new front office does. Aside from KA13, every other move has been prudent. Regarding him, he was owed too much money and the team needed the cap room.

Now if they don’t provide reasonable replacements in the WR room and/or add some playmakers, that’s a big concern for the offense. A running-based attack still needs guys to capitalize on stacked boxes, etc.

  2. I think fans as a whole are upset because we all know Keenan wasn’t where the change was needed.

All we can hope for now is that the change was worth it. Time will tell.

    Obv. Cap hit aside*

  3. I love Keenan and wish him the best but I’ve been begging for a change from Telesco for nearly 7 years if that means getting rid of (some or all of) his foundational pieces than so be it. This team needs to be built from the ground up.

  4. I’m ok with the bandaid coming off. I wish he didn’t go but at least it saves a difficult decision around renewing him.

101M in cap space going into next year which means we can renew whoever we want. Pipkins can also be cut to free 6.5M if he has another bad year and Bosa can be released to free another 25M.

Means we can renew Slater without worrying, keep ASJ if we want and have around 100M headspace. We need to nail the draft to compete this year but we can start building depth in FA next year too

  5. For the millionth time, people are upset because trading Keenan just to keep Bosa and Mack is a pretty questionable decision. If they just ripped the bandaid and got rid of all of them, that would’ve made a lot more sense.

  6. Exactly lmao. Fans acting like we just lost our one piece that got us to the AFC championship game 😂. Time for a change! In Jim we trust.

Im all in all Jim for better or worse. If Jim cant get us a ring then I dont know who can.

We freed up money to add depth. Not 5 high paid players and then rest are low paid mediocre players. We now have money to add depth. More above average players through out the whole roster.

  7. Trading arguably the best and most popular WR in franchise history for a meager 4th round pick is a change no one wanted.

  8. Billionaire and millionaire owners and General managers wipe their 💩with what the fans want or an opinion.

  9. You could tell Keenan was pissed during his bears press conference. I don’t blame him. You have to get what you can.

  10. It’s okay to criticize dumb ass decisions. If I see a drunk friend climb into a car I’m gonna stop him and call him a moron.

If I see the Chargers gut the WR room and try to turn the team into a power run, ball control Offence led by Gus fucking Edwards, taking the ball out of the hands of Justin Herbert I’m gonna call them morons.

Depth is cool but having an actual WR1 on the roster would be nice

  11. Let’s see how the rest of the offseason plays out, but so far I am questioning what the plan is to maximize Herbert, our best player

  12. yeah we wanted change but losing the best WR we had isn’t the change we were looking for 🤷🏽‍♂️

  13. I understand the business decision. What I don’t understand is the level of disrespect for Keenan coming from a portion of this sub. When I see people say shit like “good riddance” you’ll never convince me those people have been fans for longer than 15 minutes.

  14. I’m fine with it. But having to see him and his family prancing around in bears gear? 🤬
