The Niners and Dolphins were on a collision course all year. Head and shoulders above the 26 other teams that season. Came into the game with a combined record of 33-3. Still the best combined record for 2 teams playing in the Super Bowl (and it’s gonna be a hard record to ever break). And, yes, Roger definitely deserves the HOF.
Roger was a groundbreaking player and should absolutely be in the HOF. The first 1000/1000 back, his multi-purpose style paved the way for Marshall Faulk and CMC.
It surprises me every time I hear the RC is not in the HOF
I don’t understand how Roger Craig is so forgotten.
Craig almost scored 4 touchdowns in this game! So close to superbowl mvp.
My wife hired him a few times for some clients. I got to talk to him on the nine for like half an hour. We got into it about him being in the HOF and he told me if he ever gets elected he’s putting me in the front row. Sure, he was probably just talking shit, but my wife gets him paid a lot so I like to think he meant it.
