[Fowler] The #Eagles are moving Haason Riddick’s $1M roster bonus, originally due March 15, to April 1, per sources. This in theory buys Philly time for a potential trade before having to pay the money.

Restructure possibility?
Moving Haas would be so dumb
I do not understand what they are doing with him.
My guess: conditional 3rd round pick that can become a 2nd based on playing time or other incentives.
Wont get much since he wants an extension… plus Howie might send him to a team of choice. I have low expectations but we’ll see.
Keeping our guy Reddick would be the cherry on top of this off-season (ignoring losing key guys to retirement, bittersweet)
I’m going to be devastated if Reddick is traded.
Wouldn’t trading him not make sense because of the comp pick we’d get if he stays?
pls keep him ☹️
Well we will most likely know by April 1st.
Reddick: 👍🏿?
Howie: 👎
Sucks because we need defense and he’s a drive stopper, but I love our offensive weapons core. I’d like to keep that while replacing te and wr3 sooner than later.
Huff, Riddick, and Sweat is a great pass rush rotation, and better accomodates Huff’s limited snap experience. I really hope we just keep him
I gotta say this part of being a Philly fan has always been the hardest pill to swallow, when it comes to our players and our guys we’ve rarely done right by them. Kelce, BG, and Cox are definitely outliners who I was happy to see finish their career with us, but just the amount of life long birds are painfully low. End of the day I know it’s buisness, but hope he gets a chance to keep playing for his hometown birds
Anyone who thought we were keeping him after the Sweat news is clueless. We’re not paying Bryan Huff $17 million annually to be a backup edge rusher. I just hope Howie uses whatever compensation he gets for Reddick to build up this linebacker corps because it’s looking like another godawful year for them if they don’t make moves.
The more I think about the more a trade would just suck overall, they’ll be lucky to get a 3rd for him and the only teams willing to trade for him are probably contenders. And no I don’t care for a random 3rd round pick for the best pass rusher we have. Hope we can work something out to retain him for this year at least.
He gone
This is all adding up to me eventually being really sad that it didn’t work out :/
Sneed for Reddick who says no
He must’ve agreed to this right?
No. You give this man a two year extension.
Howie is waiting for some team to trade seven first-round picks for him…
