  1. That proven QB threw 21 interceptions. That’s completely unacceptable in the modern NFL. This is the kind of shit take I’d expect from Chris Simms, Dan Orlovsky, or Mike Florio.

  2. I want to believe that Peters will draft a pro-ready QB.

I want to believe that Kliff can accumulate this young man into a winnable offense.

I am super excited for BWagz and Luvu to come in and maybe show Jamon how to be a better LB.

I hope that we draft some good linemen and maybe a TE.

  3. No chance we’re worse than Panthers unless the rookie QB is absolutely terrible. Patriots have a worse roster as well.

  4. Complete ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop). While the Homer in me says 20-0 until proven elsewise, the realist says, Upgrades at many positions, maybe not stars, but upgrades, (Hopefully) better coaching, and a new QB (and, lets face it, had a rookie QB last Year), so with even identical QB play, we win 4-5 again, and not worst in league.

Hoping its closer to the homer side of things tho.

  5. Shit take, if only because the Panthers exist. They were *really* bad last year, they traded what wound up being #1 overall, and they have lost even more talent in free agency.

  6. It’s like outrunning a bear. You just have to be faster than your friends

  7. 🎯 we’re rebuilding, installing a new offense and defense. It will take time

  8. Mark my words, the Patriots will be historically bad this year. They easily have one of the worst rosters I’ve ever seen

  9. Even if we were to field the exact same roster, we would probably still be better off with Dan Quinn, Joe Whitt, and Kliff Kingsbury coaching. That said, the team probably won’t hit its stride until at least halfway through the season. I optimistically predict an 8-9 season… 3-5 first half and a 5-4 second half.

  10. There is no way this team is worse than last year unless Maye turns out to be Wilson 2.0.

  11. I’m not going to make fun of who ever did this. We did this shit last year and look where it got us. This team is shit until proven otherwise and I don’t expect anyone on the outside to think otherwise either.

Fans in here need to realize if they fuck up on this QB decision this team is fucked once again. There is the possibility who ever we draft actually has a worse year than Howell. If that’s the case we’ll be here again next year picking in the top 10.

  12. Worst really no Pathers easily even Patriots. Panthers literally lost most of their defensive players and most likely will be the worst defensive team in the league and Patriots also have bad roster with no solid receivers or running backs and a ok defense. We honestly can’t be worst than last year with a solid new head coach and solid OC and DC along with a lot of draft capital all being chosen by stellar general manager. Even the Vikings and Broncos, Titans, Giants all have a chance at being worst than us.

  13. What’s the point of posting a screenshot of a single paragraph from some random article. We have no way of knowing the publication, the author, or the context.

  14. It’s a total guess. I think our record was awful last year because EB was a terrible OC. He had zero interest in running the ball, and defenses could tee off on our QB at will. EB was exposed last year as someone who has no business calling plays on the field.

We should have been maybe 7-10 or so last year, I think we have a chance to go 9-8 or so this year, if we start playing a more balanced offensive scheme this year. We have good rb’s and talented receivers.

  15. You know what happens pretty consistently in the NFL? A team that fires their head coach typically has a better record the following season. So πŸ’© lol.

  16. There’s no way with the schedule we have that we will be worse than we were last season. I don’t think we’ll be amazing, this is a building year, but we will NOT be worse than we were last season. Aside from the obvious (Dallas, Philly, NY twice), we play:

Carolina, Atlanta, Tennessee, Chicago, Pittsburgh, and Cleveland at home.

Baltimore, New Orleans, Arizona, Cincinnati, and Tampa Bay away.

I’m not going to proclaim who we could or couldn’t beat out of those teams in March, but Carolina, Tennessee, Chicago, and Arizona are dumpster fires. Pittsburgh, Cleveland, New Orleans and Atlanta have some huge question marks. The tough games are Tampa, Cincinnati, and Baltimore.

NY should be worse than us (but that’s been the case for a while and they keep fucking winning somehow), Philly will fall off in my opinion, Dallas should be the favorite to win the division and then choke in the playoffs again. I just don’t see how we’ll end up worse. We could start Marcus Mariota for the entire season and I don’t think we could wind up worse than we were in 2023.

  17. The last time I said we would be good, the Coaches and Free Agents unleashed diarrhea of epic proportions on the field. Until I know decently about our Coaches and QB, I would be wary to predict anything.

  18. This is the way. I hope we only win 4 games again. 100% down to load up on draft picks the next 2 years.

  19. Harris doesn’t want to win 8-9 games. I bet we have a rough year, 4-6 wins, high draft pick and money to spend next year as well

  20. Who cares? I don’t expect to get this thing turned around in 1 season. So long as we look competent and our rookie QB shows real potential and development(hopefully the flashes of a top 5 QB) then I’m happy. To go into the year expecting a Texans like turn around is setting yourself up for heartbreak

  21. Lol what a nonsense prediction at this stage. Imagine writing this and we end up with a Stroud-like QB.

  22. This is a multiyear rebuild and this fanbase experienced over 20 years of incompetence. Don’t expect a quick fix and be patient.
