Love to hear that he’ll be working with Pat some this off-season. This is a great signing for KC at only a 7M base. Hopefully he earns more of those incentives. Brown is something we haven’t had since Hill was traded. He’s a speedster who can go over the middle and can actually track the ball in the air.

MVS had fast top end speed but couldn’t track the ball. Watson is fast but has no lateral agility and I know I’m gonna get flamed for this because people love Watson but he can’t track the ball either. Yes, he made a few nice catches but he whiffed on a lot of balls because he couldn’t adjust while moving.

I want to see KC grab someone like AD Mitchell or Brian Thomas Jr if possible. Some fast guys who are bigger who can help open up lanes for both Rice and Brown. Gonna be tough to double team Kelce with Rice, Brown and one of those guys on the field at the same time.
I also love that he came here to win and that making the most money isn’t his only priority. That’s the kind of player that Veach loves, all day. He will pay you, but the more you give to the team, the more you get back from the GM. Big reason we are moving on from Sneed. You can’t have anyone who isn’t Mahomes (and now Jones) breaking contract records when you’re trying to win more SBs.
Really enjoyed Hollywoods interview. Seems very grounded. Wouldn’t mind signing him to an extension during next season if he balls out
This dude wants to win, and he had us targeted as the team he wanted. He took less to come here. He’s humble pie. He’s on Pat’s possie already I assume. Watching film, he’s great at finding the ball too. This could be a special situation.
Honestly think if this works it’s is our best bet for receivers going forward. Get talented guys who have been playing in bad systems. Then 1 year of “rehab” with Mahomes pumping up the stats for a team friendly deal, then someone else pays the next contract. Even Juju got a good deal
