  1. Quentin was the man! Too bad we were 1 year apart from having Q and A-Gon in the same line-up.

Fun facts : I believe he has the Padre record for Hit-by-Pitches in a season with 17! And it was in only 86 games!

Fun fact 2: He was HBP 5 times in one game in college!

Fun fact 3: Had the MiLB record for HBP in a season with 43!

  2. I feel like I sometimes get treated as a psycho for this opinion, but intentional non-headshot HBPs and the ensuing brawls are fun. FWIW the only other sport I care about is hockey.

I was at a Padres game 2 years ago and ended up sitting next to a guy who ended up being the father of a very well known NCAA basketball player at the time. Like top NBA draft pick type.

He essentially kinda had the same opinion, but said that with social media everyone just knows each other these days and are essentially friends. They’re still competitive, but the days of animosity of athletes is kinda done unless there’s a personal issue which is rare.

  3. In hindsight, I feel bad for Zack given his mental health history but accountability is a bitch.
