  1. At this point, he’s more invested in his podcast lol. If we wanted to stay i feel like he would have signed already. He’s been playing like ass on his contract year rn. Kawhi already took initiative.

  2. The two teams are sixers and pacers. I don’t think pacers can pull it with pascal being free agent so it’s going be sixers. If PG wants to play for philly fans, he can go ahead because if that dude thought the bubble was hell for him, I want see how he would react to Philly fans booing him

  3. Imagine this team with Jimmy Butler or Jalen Brunson or Jamal Murray β€” all lesser players in terms of skill imho, but so much more consistent and mentally locked in.

Love PG, but he hasn’t been a serious player for a while. I hope we have enough time to retool around Kawhi if this season goes down in flames.

  4. Well well well… guess wishes do come true lol. Hoping PG opts in so we can get something for him.

  5. Which eastern teams would offer PG13 a max contract? Heat/76ers/Knicks would make sense if they have cap space although none of those fanbases would be half as patient with him as the Clippers’ fanbase.

  6. That’s what I’ve been thinking. He didn’t get his max contract and is doing a form of holding out. On defense bro not even contesting and or crashing the boards. Idk I’m dooming but last game was fucking frustrating

  7. I would just offer him the max. Mid guys pick up contracts at 30M/year and George at his worst is still better than a lot of those guys. The worst thing would be to lose him for nothing especially given we have basically no draft picks for the next half decade

  8. so let’s suppose PG leaves (through the FA or sign and trade), which path do we follow?

  9. Forgot he’s actually only 33. Still has 4-5 more years left. If he’s not even that serious about competing I’d love to see him mentoring Scottie Barnes on the raptors

  10. Could the team do a sign & trade for Siakam? Or maybe Dejounte Murray & a young PF on the Hawks? Is something like that possible for us under the new collective bargaining rules?

I don’t think PG is worth a max but letting him walk for nothing would completely close the team’s window of winning anything in the near future.

  11. I didn’t know Clippers fans were this upset with Paul George this season since I’m a Kawhi fan who just watches a lot of Clippers games.

Lots of comments talking about good riddance if he walks in free agency but if he does that don’t the Clippers not have the cap room to sign anyone else?

  12. I’m relatively sure if pg walks they don’t have the space for another max guy, I’d rather have him than nothing

  13. LMAO at all the β€œPG ain’t shit” comments. Some of you really are insufferable losers. PG has been an excellent Clipper, and his departure would be a major loss, and leave this team worse off, even if he hasn’t singlehandedly gotten this team a chip yet. Neither has Kawhi btw, so i guess it won’t be long before these losers turn on him too?
