Is anybody here or on the Clippers aware of Zu?!

HE IS NOW THE 2ND HIGHEST IN CURRENT FG%!!!!!

That's right, 2ND HIGHEST!!!!

When your team has that on its roster and the dude gets 1 fg attempt in a whole game, you're doing it wrong!

When he was blossoming earlier in the season, and a central figure in the offense, the team looked like they were arguably the best in the league and I even think that is when they had the #1 spot in the west if I'm not mistaken.

Going back to him will make life easier on everyone else, especially Kawhi, the sooner the team realizes this, the sooner they will be back on track in my opinion.

  1. Zu has to be a major key. When they stop getting him touches, the game goes bad.

  2. Yeah, I think getting him rolling will be a key part to getting our offense (and team) rolling again. Harden missing time is a bummer, because they were cooking together like I’ve never seen Zu cook before.

But yeah, I agree. IDK if Zu taking more shots and scoring more will necessarily mean things are back for us – but, I can’t imagine us looking good without Zu putting up numbers like he was pre injury.

  3. I remember when we went on our streak and he was getting multiple touches in the posts per game. I don’t know why we went away from it but would be good to see that come back at least a little

  4. The paint is being packed because teams have figured out not to respect most of our roleplayers on the 3pt line. We either have a bad shooter out there or 1-2 guys that are too hesitant to let it fly. All of our lineups have a ton of Theis, PJ, Coffey, and Mann in them and if Coffey, Mann, and even PJ aren’t just shooting the second they touch the ball on the 3pt line defenses will continue to sag off them and pack the paint.

You cant run a play for the guy if there’s 3 guys waiting for him.

  5. I wish we got Gafford to bring a little defensive energy and easy buckets with Harden. I think he would’ve worked better for us than Theis and Plum as a backup 5

  6. I love Zu but he can’t handle passes and he gets isoed out the court. We should have started PJ Tucker.

  7. The difference between Gafford and Zu is that Zu can post up. That leads to a high percentage hook or a double-team.

But let’s have PG dribble aimlessly for another braindead turnover or a contested jumper. 6’8″ Reggie Jackson
