What do you guys think our record will be by the end the year

  1. I see 7 potential losses on there. So guessing 8-7 as a base case scenario. So 43 wins

Best case 10-5. So 45 wins at best

  2. I hope we tank. I don’t wanna lose to lakers in play in and have em lord it over us.

Let podz, kuminga, moody, and trayce get am extended run, 35+ min a game to get more experience for next year.

  3. Thats a fairly soft schedule. You would think with all the talent this team should be able to go 11-4. But given how this team been last couple years probably 9-6 or 8-7.

  4. Utah 2x, Memphis, San Antonio, Charlotte, Portland should all be safe W’s. The remaining games I reckon we split 50/50. I’ll go 45-37.

  5. 15-0 ending because this was the start of season record the ‘15-‘16 Dubs broke, and we’re that weird of a team.

  6. Why do we act like we have any idea what this team will do from night to night? Best the best, lose to the worst and every variation is possible.

  7. I went game by game. The way we’re playing right now, we’ll go 6-9 the rest of the way. And hilariously, that puts us right at .500

  8. There’s a valid question Joe Lacob needs to be asking – how far could we get into the lottery if we actively tanked, starting today?

  9. A couple weeks ago I was super optimistic……was thinking the schedule looked soft and the Dubs could realistically finish with 48-50 wins and the playoff seeding would take care of itself. Today I have no fucking clue as to why I was that optimistic. With the exception of the Kings, ALL the teams above the Dubs in the standings have obviously better talent and are playing better basketball. And the Kings are masking their roster deficiencies with great coaching, great teamwork, fire, grit, hunger, etc. The Warriors were an amazing organization that won four championships….a truly amazing accomplishment for which every Dubs fan should be grateful. They will someday be amazing again…..but not soon and not with really anyone on this roster. The youth isn’t ready, the vets aren’t hungry anymore, the supporting players are sub par & the lineups they have tried each fall short in a different way. They will be lucky to go .500 the rest of the way & it might be mercy for Houston to take the 10th seed from them. Bummer.

  10. 41-41 because we are the very definition of mid this year.

    Expecting a mid finish.

People hoping for 10-5 or better is pure copium.

  11. It’s crunch time of the season and basketball intelligence is becoming more of a factor. I’d like to believe that Kuminga will keep us competitive when Steph is having an off night, but he doesn’t have that moxie yet to take over and dominate, especially in crunch time. Klay is too streaky to count on as our second best scoring option. Wiggins? I can’t even remember when he was a big impact on offense. We might barely squeak into the play-in with a .500 record, but then will probably get bounced by AD and LeBron. We have zero answers for AD and the million foul calls that go his way.

  12. The bigger question to ponder is who will be on the roster next season when the Dubs finish with 41 or 42 wins and get knocked out of the play in. Will they blow it up because what they currently have is just getting worse, and will probably finish worse than .500 next year. Do they let the vet trio ride off into the sunset with a progressively worse team the next few years or start building around Kuminga and whatever rabbits MDJ can pull out with mid-round draft picks.
