[POST GAME THREAD] The losing streak continues as the Utah Jazz (29-40) lose to the OKC Thunder (48-20) 107-119.

1. GAME NOTES:

   The most frustrating thing is that we are hanging with these teams up until the fourth quarter, when we just get destroyed. Our offense turns to shit, and our defense gets even worse.

   ​

   Collin Sexton is on an absolute tear right now. 5 straight games of 20+, he continued tonight by dropping 25 points on 12-18 shooting, 0-2 from 3, 1-2 from the line, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, and 2 turnovers. [His only OREB was this great putback dunk near the end of the first half.](https://x.com/JazzLead/status/1770617530824212499?s=20) His little stutter step off [a pick is deadly, it really freezes Chet here.](https://x.com/JazzLead/status/1770613707594506297?s=20) He’s been playing really well, and had some good defense on Shai.

   Johnny Juzang is a sharpshooter man. He was lighting up that second quarter with rim ripping 3’s. He finished with 9 points, 3-6 shooting (all from 3), and 1 rebound. I was a big fan of his minutes, and I thought his defensive effort is good too.

   Taylor Hendricks also played really well. 3-6 shooting, 2-5 from 3, 4-4 from the line, 12 points, 4 rebounds (3 offensive!(, 1 assist, 3 blocks, and just 3 fouls in his minutes. Although he was postered by [Chet](https://x.com/ClutchPoints/status/1770623135626248385?s=20), his 3 [blocks](https://x.com/pointmadebball/status/1770619266993410111?s=20) were great. Back-to-back blocks. His defensive IQ and awareness is so far ahead for a rookie.

   Walker Kessler played fairly well too. It seemed like he played with more purpose tonight. 4 points [including this lob,](https://x.com/JazzLead/status/1770629701238993193?s=20) 2-2 from the field, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block, and 3 fouls in 23 minutes. He actually played pretty well against Chet when he was directly matched up with him. I still want to see him be more aggressive on his offensive rebounds, and I want him to demand the ball a bit more, but his skillset as a center relies on others to feed the ball to him, and our guards don’t do a good job at doing that.

   John Collins played alright, 16 points, 5-12 shooting, 2-3 from 3, 4-4 from the line, 6 rebounds (3 offensive), 1 steal, 1 block, 4 fouls in 23 minutes. He hung well until that fourth quarter, but I don’t think the issue was on him. He sometimes gets tunnel vision when driving, but it isn’t consistent enough for me to complain.

   Keyonte George was terrible. 9 points, 3-14 shooting, 0-7 from 3, 3-3 from the line, 7 rebounds (great!), 2 assists, 2 turnovers, tied with John Collins for a team low -23. Just nothing could go right for him today.

   Everybody else played like ass. I hate watching THT. His negatives severely outweigh the positives.

   Shorter game notes because that was not a good game, despite us hanging in there. Collin Sexton, Taylor Hendricks, and Juzang were the 3 bright spots imo.

3. Good game again, stayed competitive but we didn’t need the win. Sexton fights so hard still I really hope that he stays for next year or if they do move him that they get a big return. What we’re seeing out of Hendricks has been an extremely bright spot long term as well as what we’re seeing out of the G league guys even.

   This season will be over soon

4. Despite all the losses, I’m having a lot more fun watching this team since Clarkson has been out… take that as you will.

8. Thunder Fan here in peace. I was at the game watching Sexton just destroy us for a majority of the game. Dude is fast af with the ball and can hit from almost anywhere it seems. Keep him for a long time! GG Utah Bros.
