[Dom Luszczyszyn at the Athletic] The most difficult defensive minutes played this year – Parayko, Leddy and Thomas all in the top 20

What does it mean? They’re consistently going up against very difficult matchups and based on their matchups they’d would be expected to have -2.6, -2.3 and -2.1 defensive ratings (per Dom’s models).
Actual ratings: 55: 0 4: -1 18: 0
So 55 is exceeding by 2.6, 4 by 1.3 and 18 by 2.1.
Seeing Walman and Dunn break out like they have hurts so much given our current defensive woes. No way we could’ve kept Dunn (Vlad was exposed as well), but he’s >23 minutes/game and not far off from point/game pace this season. Given Dunn’s age, if he stays at Seattle for his career, easily could be one of Kraken franchise’s first legends
No surprise to see ROR there.
Leddy gets shit for his contract (which is still too high), but he’s been a pretty reliable defenseman for us this year IMO
